Lost Season Finale!

WOW! this really answered some questions! great episode (and i'm finally back & committed to schlost!)

- Sawyer called Jack "Sundance"- butch cassidy & the sundance kid. butch cassidy & sundance kid were robbers- wanted dead or alive.

- there was enough explosives- 6 months worth to blow up an aircraft carrier. (oceanic 6)

- walt's grandmother looks like rose!

- Locke told Jack he was not supposed to go home. crashing here was our destiny. you know you are here for a reason. Jack said there is no such thing has miracles. it's science vs faith. when Locke tells him he has to lie, he didn't want to. it was only until kate said that aaron surviving was a miracle, Jack decides to follow Locke's instructions. also the science vs faith. Locke was on a commune that had a greenhouse (where Ben takes Locke). The episode was called "Further Instructions".

- the story of the Oceanic 6 - they mention Libby, Boone & Charlie. why not Mr. Ecko, Ana Lucia, Shannon, Paulo, Nikki?

- why did Juliette call Daniel Farraday "Dan"- seems as if she knows him already.

- Ben's eyes were black in station when he was taking Locke down. After he shot Keamy, he had blood on his hands (religious symbol- Locke also had blood on his hands).

- Sayid had a black shadow on his face when visiting Hurley. Why was Hurley seeing Mr. Ecko? Why do many of them including Miles & Jack see dead people? He also moved the chess piece (black & white theme/game). Checkmate-
one player's king is threatened with capture (in check) and there is no way to meet that threat.

- Where was Ben when he was hurt in the chest before - I remember seeing him holding his chest- above his heart in another episode (religious symbol- bleeding heart) And the icy station- there was another station in the cold that was watching over the island

- We don't really know for sure if Claire died or not!

- Charlotte says to Miles she had to find the place of her birth. She must have been raised in Dharma, which I think Miles was as well- which is why he doesn't want to leave. still think he's revenging the death of his father (Dr. Candle/Halliwax) I think that many of them were once on the island when they were young but don't remember because of the time travel scenario. Plus, Charlotte, Miles, Daniel seem to be brought there to kill Ben.

- Desmond escaped death. Michael escaped death many times and tried to kill himself a few times.. which is why he probably sent Jin out and stayed with the boat.

- Jack to Desmond- see you in another life, brotha. Desmond said that to Jack when they met running before the island. Desmond says, I guess you will. expect these two to reunite!

- Jack listening the The Pixies "Gauge Away" which was on Doolittle. The lyrical themes explored on Doolittle range from the surrealism of "Debaser", to the environmental catastrophe of "Monkey Gone to Heaven". The women and whores of "Mr. Grieves," "Tame," and "Hey" share space with the Biblical analogies of "Dead" and "Gouge Away". Francis' fascination with Biblical themes can be traced back to his teenage years; when he was twelve, he and his parents joined an evangelical church linked to the Assemblies of God. This background was to be an influence in Doolittle, where he referred to the Devil being "six" and God being "seven" in "Monkey Gone to Heaven," along with his various takes on Bible stories. Gauge Away has theme of Samson & Delilah- Samson was meant to "Serve God" . As Jack visits Locke he is starting to believe what Locke said to him.

- Ben looked younger when he went to see Locke/Jack at the funeral home.

- Sun blames Jack for Jin's death (she said she blames two men- her father and Jack).

- Locke/Jeremy Bentham. At first I thought it was Benson. Looked it up- M. David Benson was the founder of Apollo Candy (the chocolate that was on the island). is this a play on words- why would Locke use this name? was this the name of his father (we don't know if the con man that claimed to be Locke's father was really his father). maybe it was the candy man. there was a picture of Apollo in Locke's dad's apartment.

- Locke was alone - no one was at his funeral. Live together, Die Alone. Did he really commit suicide or was it a cover up. Seems as if he was trying to recruit the Oceanic 6 to go back to the Island. Jack said things got bad when they left- it's because they took Aaron (Aaron is the Chosen One - there was also a #1 on his blanket when Kate thought she saw Claire and Claire told her not to bring him back there). jacob, then Ben ran the island, then Locke, Aaron was never supposed to leave. This also ties into the theory that people were born on the island & don't remember. Kate knew her way around the island, I think Jack was on the island, did his dad run it too- there was the Jacob connection.

- the coffin always appeared small- did locke lose his legs once he went back?

The commercials!

- one with a Walt Polar Bear http://www.nationalgrid.com/ (went there- i adopted a polar bear, named it, fed it, etc. it's all about saving the environment)

- octagon global recruiting http://www.oisinc.com/

Season 4, Episode 10- Something Nice Back Home

Sorry this is late again ('m a terrible blogger!). But be prepared, I'm on vacation this Thursday. guess it doesn't really matter. no one reads schlost except for maybe 2 people.

i didn't really notice too much this week- it was more about set up.

- there was a millennium falcon toy in the house. nice star wars shout out again! also, Luke Skywalker was raised by his uncle (as Aaron currently is) and Luke and Leia were brother and sister as are Claire & jack and don't know it.

- Aaron had a space mobile above his crib. in a previous episode it was a plane mobile.

- jack was reading "adventures of Alice in wonderland" to Aaron

- why is sawyer so suddenly protective over Claire?

- ms. berenberg- one of jack's patients. she'll probably make an appearance later on. she looks like a widmore type chick.

- Jack seeing his dad in the hospital- then Claire seeing him on the island- does jack know he's related to Claire when he yells at Kate about Aaron not even being related to him?

- Hurley's comments about heaven and that they are already dead-are the producers trying to deceive us by throwing out the purgatory theory? also Hurley's eyes were black when he said this.

- you're not supposed to raise him (raised by another)

- Bernard says to think of something nice back home and then eventually, jack wants to go back home to the island.

- Aaron had a big whale toy (whales are one of the Dharma animals)

- Aaron in the tree- looks like Jesus again, all wrapped up.

- i think that the favor Sawyer asks Kate to do is to go look up his child. remember, sawyer got some chick pregnant before he went to the island!

- also who buried Karl and Danielle Rousseau?
